Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of this completed booking form and a booking deposit of £100.00 or 25% of the holiday cost, whichever is the greater. The balance of the holiday cost plus the refundable deposit of £50.00 (only if bringing dogs) must be paid no later than 28 days prior to the start of your holiday.

DECLARATION : I declare that I am over 18 years of age and agree to be held responsible for the balance of the rental together with (if applicable) the refundable deposit and for any additional charges as detailed in the Conditions of Hire. I agree to the rental of Burrow Farm Holiday Cottage and I acknowledge that I have read and understood the terms of the Conditions of Hire for the rental of the holiday home.

  • RENT:
    Your deposit of £100.00 (or 25% of the holiday price if greater) is non-refundable and the balance of your holiday price must be received no later than 28 days prior to commencement. We do not issue reminders for the balance. Please make cheques payable to Burrow Farm and post to Burrow Farm, Wootton Courtenay, Minehead, Somerset TA24 7UD

  • CANCELLATIONS
    THE HIRER BECOMES LIABLE TO THE PROPRIETOR FOR ALL MONIES DUE IN RESPECT OF LETTING ON RECEIPT OF CONFIRMATION FROM THE PROPRIETOR THAT THE BOOKING HAS BEEN ACCEPTED. If you cancel the booking AT ANY TIME we will make every effort to re-let the cottage however we reserve our rights to the balance of the tariff if re-letting cannot be arranged.
    WE STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO TAKE OUT HOLIDAY INSURANCE TO COVER THIS EVENT.

  • DAMAGES & BREAKAGES
    The hirer is fully responsible (to the value of a new replacement where appropriate) for any damage to the holiday home or any damage to or loss of any of its contents.

  • CLEANING
    Guests are expected to leave their cottage clean and tidy when vacating. You must report and pay for any damage or breakages during your stay.

  • ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
    Entry to the holiday home will be at 4.00 p.m. on the arrival date and departure must be no later than 12.00 a.m. on the final day of the letting period. Please do not arrive early as we need time to prepare your cottage.

  • NUMBER OF GUESTS and PRICING
    The cottage is priced for accomodating up to a maximum of 5 people. A cot is available free of charge for babies. Except with the prior written consent of the proprietor, no persons other than those named overleaf may occupy the holiday home. The proprietors reserve the right to terminate the letting forthwith in the event of breach of this condition.

  • SUPERVISION OF CHILDREN
    All children must be supervised by an adult when playing outside.

  • PERSONAL BELONGINGS
    All property of the hirer is the responsibility of the hirer and the proprietor accepts no responsibility whatsoever in the case of damage to or loss of such property. You are advised to take out your own insurance.

  • DOGS
    The hirer may bring up to 2 dogs by prior arrangement (3 if very small dogs).
    The hirer is solely responsible for such animals. The cost of any damage or additional cleaning associated with your dog(s) will be deducted from your refundable £50.00 deposit and any expense in excess of this sum will be recoverable by the proprietor. Dogs must not be allowed on the furniture and must not go upstairs at any time. Your refundable deposit (less any deductions) will be posted to you within 3 days of your departure.

  • SMOKING
    For the enjoyment of the cottage by all our visitors we operate a NO SMOKING POLICY.

  • PURPOSE OF LETTING
    The hirer acknowledges that this agreement is made on the basis that the holiday home is to be occupied by the hirer for a holiday (as referred to in the Housing Act 1988, Schedule 1, Paragraph 9) and the hirer further acknowledges that the tenancy granted by this agreement is not an assured tenancy and that no statutory tenancy will arise on the termination of the letting period. We reserve the right of access to our property at all reasonable times.
